How to look good naked – well, nearly naked

Well I’ve just set my first deadline I’ll be working towards and I must confess to being more than a little nervous.  My friends would generally agree that I’ve never been the most ‘girlie’ girl, but I’ve just bought a Groupon voucher for a Boudoir photo shoot at Divine Divas and it has to be used before May 2013.  Naturally, if I’m going to do this I want to look fabulous darling (#abfabvoice) and sexy as hell.  I really want to have something I can look at and say ‘wow’, plus it’ll be a hot surprise for the BF :-).

Now, to most people May next year sounds a long way away.  However, I never underestimate my own powers to put off till tomorrow what I can start today.  With that in mind I need to put some serious effort into looking good (nearly) naked.  With an impending sense of doom I can feel the words ‘exercise’ and ‘diet’ floating in the direction of this blog.  The former is not a problem, as these days I enjoy exercise – I never thought I’d say that 2 years ago.  Diet is a different kettle of fish.  I hate being told I can’t have something, it makes me want it 10 times more.

Now the big decision, what should my target be?  I’m currently weighing in at 13st 11lb  and am 5’9″ (was #gasp 16st 6lb 18 months ago) and am a (vanity) size 16 in most things.  Exercise has lost me a lot of weight and toned some of whats left, but ideally I want to lose another stone and a dress size (want something suitably slinky for the photo shoot).  So it looks like I’m aiming for 12 st 11lb and a size 14 by May, eeeek.

OK, need to sleep on this and work out how I’m going to do it……………..and yes I know basically its ‘eat less, move more’ :-).  Wish me luck!
