Janathon Day 16 – Baby steps

she looks how I feel

I’m being a wuss.  Having finally got my body temp down to normal I now merely have a cold – possibly not even manflu.

With the outdoor temperatures plummeting and wind rising I elected not to strain my already ravaged body with a run and only went for a brief and not especially brisk 1 mile walk after work today.  I figure it’s better than nothing.

Now I’m sitting here wrapped in a blanket wearing 3 layers of clothes contemplating a hot bath and a lempsip in an attempt to warm up.  Despite this I feel a small sense of triumph at my attempt not to fall off the Janathon wagon 🙂

If feeling better still tomorrow I may throw caution to the winds and try a run.  With snow due on Friday and over the weekend it looks like Thursday might be my only opportunity. Of course I reserve the right to change my mind if its wet…. or windy…or snowing………or very cold. You get the idea.  Maybe I need better motivation, I personally like runorgocrazys style.
