WordPress site stats -obsession or plan for world domination?

my blog world domination as of 16/1/2013

I’ve only had this blog for 2 or 3 months and I’ve come to really love it.  I love writing about stuff as much as I enjoy reading about what other people are up to.  What started as an experiment has become a part of my life, possibly to the slight annoyance of the BF.

But, behind the love I am harbouring an obsession.  I’m addicted to the wordpress stats pages!  Specifically, I love the map.  I was only getting hits from big westernised countries and similar eg USA, Canada.  Then out of the blue I got a hit from Argentina.  Argentina, I thought, why is someone in Argentina interested in what I have to say?  Then I had a visitor from Sri Lanka and then the Phillipines.

Before I knew it I was hooked.  Never mind about pages views, when I log on with my laptop I want to see if there are any new bits of the map coloured in :-).  I’ve got 14 countries so far, now the challenge is to see how quickly I can collect the rest of the world – I’m not a megalomaniac honest…………

Hmmmmm, wonder what can I write about to attract interest from far flung places like Bolivia, or Bali, or India?
