Janathon Day 20 – Slip, sliding away

January 20, 2013

Ah, its good to be home!

Luckily it hasn’t snowed here since Friday and the roads were clear enough to drive home. However, doing so did cause a certain dilemma. What to do for Janathon today?

With my cold still not gone I elected for a stroll round the block to blow away some of the cobwebs of yesterday. A more accurate description would be ice skating, although even that is being generous. A 10 min walk took 20 and more than once I ended up splatted on parked cars or holding on to fences to avoid falling over :-). In the end it was safer and easier to walk in the road!

Feel good for having attempted the walk, but have learned the hard way that until the pavements are clear I should stick to indoor exercise 🙂
