Challenges for all seasons

February 10, 2013

I really should learn to be careful what I wish for.

I’ve been looking for a ‘one-a-day’ type challenge to fill the hole left by Janathon #sob. I like the idea of a challenge that develops into something over a month so that you can track improvement. Ideally, I was also looking for something I could do alongside the running, but that wouldn’t interfere with it.

Well, I found this PInterest page of monthly fitness challenges. Now, it’s just a question of which one to do!!! :-).

I’m a bit late to start Fab Ab February, but I’d say better late than never. It will be a minor miracle if I can manage the press-ups, but if I can finish Feb able to do 10 I can start Mad Abs March on time, followed by Kick Ass April :-).

Who knows I may even have a bit of muscle tone by the time the photoshoot comes round in May.Β  I’d like to say, I’d be aiming for the Jennifer Nicole Lee look for this years bikini season on holiday, but that may be being a tad unrealistic. I figure anything slightly less wobbly that the current situation is a step in the right direction πŸ™‚

Jennifer Nicole Lee, I want your abs. hand ’em over

Do all three! Now that would be a challenge. I’ll do it too (modified). What do you think? Start tomorrow?

Hahaha! I haven’t done mine…YET! I am going to a Zumba Sentao (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=x7FGufoXUNw) class at 5:30. I will let you know how it goes!

ooooh, I do like Zumba. Any opportunity to shake booty is a good thing in my book. Although, personally I prefer Body Jam, I like the way the routine builds
Good luck with doing the ab stuff after that class, you’ll be shattered :-S

Two minute plank makes my eyes hurt just reading it! Ab Fab Feb does sound kind of cool though!

don’t look at the end point it will just put you off, look at the start. I cant even do all the day 1 press-ups in one go right now, but I figure its worth a try as I’m bound to improve πŸ™‚
