Yay, its Juneathon time

May 31, 2013

Juneathon is finally here. A month of daily activities and blogging

I’m so looking forward to the coming month.  Tomorrow kicks of Juneathon – the self-described ‘Annual festival of activity and excuses’.  The idea is to register on their site then run, walk, cycle, do some form of activity every day of the month and blog it within 24 hours.

I took part in Juneathons colder little brother Janathon and it was great fun, in the process discovering the blogs of some great people.  I’m hoping that Juneathon will be just as good, but with better weather 🙂

This time though I wont be running at all.  The knee is still pretty painful and I need to focus on getting that right before I starting running again.  In Jan though I came up with all sorts of activities to fill the gaps between runs including Karaoke housework, Body Jam, cycling and Timewarping (went to see Rocky horror). So I’ll be revisiting some of these to hit my daily activity totals.

I hope some of you readers will join me and the hundreds of others who will also be blogging their exploits.  My first two days activity are going to be all about scuba diving as I’m off to Plymouth for the weekend with Discovery Divers.  Here’s hoping the visibility is good and I can get some good fishy pics :-).

See y’all tomorrow for Day 1 of Juneathon

Was just reading your blog as you commented. I like your perspective on the world. Particularly liked your ‘Disney view of love’ post, very true.
Looking forward to your next instalment.

Good luck with it, and I hope the knee holds up OK. I really enjoyed your Janathon posts (and the inclusion of karaoke housework!) – hats off for blogging every day, the thought of that exhausts me more than the exercise itself haha. 🙂
