I. Need. Sugar.

March 8, 2013

Tonight was day 1, week 3 of b210k. I stupidly tried a new route without checking the elevation profile on runkeeper first. Never again.

As a result the 3×17 min was really hard because of stupidly steep hills (3 of them), but not as hard as the 50 min drive to the BF’s afterwards. I arrived ready to eat a scabby donkey.

Having eaten the lovely Chinese soup starter I now have a major sugar craving happening. I stupidly asked him not to have too many sweet things around because I’m too easily tempted. But my soul and body  are screaming for chocolate right now :-(. I hope the steak he is cooking now cures this craving.

Must. Distract. Self. Till. Food.Arrives.

Help.

Me.

I’m not going that route again for a while :-). My joints are really aching today so Im not doing anything till Sunday.
Although thank god the steak did stop the sugar craving 🙂

Oh dear! take it easy today then! I’m out tonight, as I missed last night, and then meant to be out tomorrow to get back on track. Were they steeper hills than the 10k route?

hope you’ve had a good run dear and are still kicking the butt of c25k.
Those hills were in a series of hairpin bend that confused me on the map. So the elevation was sort of the same, but it was definitely making a molehill feel like a mountain. Damn you town planners #shakesfist.

I didn’t kick the butt of C25K today, as we went to Swindon to see my sister and haven’t long got back and had tea, so I’m a bit pushed for time. Tomorrow though…

Pesky town planner types! But you can do it – and you have beasted the hills into submission 🙂

Hahahahaha! I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing with you. I was thinking
about hills today when I ran my 20 minutes. I should say wogged ite
because it took me that long to go 1.9 kilometers. Thanks for posting. You are inspiring!

Woohoo, 20 mins well done :-). Its amazing what a hill or incline can do to your pace isn’t it!
As for me, I’m still recovering from the ‘3 little steps to heaven’ as I now like to.think of them. I’m thinking a short session tonight might loosen me up a bit (or kill me)
Thanks for the vote of confidence #blushes 🙂

I was reading your posts and feeling your pain. actually, I’m feeling my own pain, but you know what I mean :-).
      If only hills were…..well……..flatter 🙂
